Cpl Moz Jordan

Maurice, “Moz” Jordan served as a Corporal in a Field Troop with 37 Field Squadron R.E. from 1962 - 1968. Moz with guitar
Whilst with the squadron Moz, together with three other serving soldiers from Roberts Barracks formed their own Rock Band, and for obvious reasons named themselves, “The Gentlemen”. They were Jimmy Rogers, now living in London and coaching basketball in Brixton; Peter Carr-Rickwood on Bass - Whereabouts unknown; and Dave Newsome on Drums - Whereabouts also unknown.
If by any chance some reader or visitor to these pages knows of the whereabouts of any of these chaps, kindly drop a note to the webmaster, we’ll pass on the contact information to Moz.
Following demob Moz Jordan ran a pub called “Zum sieben meere”, or as we would have it in English, “The seven seas”, this hostelry was located on the south side of Osnabrück.
More recently Moz Jordan is involved with and works for a charity in Llandudno in north Wales. They offer respite care and holidays to young adults with learning difficulties.
